Genome data privacy debates
We have partnered with the British Science Association to run a series of debates about genome data privacy. The debates are happening all over the UK as part of their Future Debate series.
The British Science Association wants to empower many more people – not just scientists – to constructively engage in debates over science’s role in their lives, their local economy, and the UK’s future.

Flagship Debate

Join our panel of experts at the final Future Debate in this series. Chairing the event will be Fiona Fox, Director of the Science Media Centre, who will be joined by a panel of speakers including:
- Professor Sir Mark Walport, Government Chief Scientific Adviser and Head of Government Science and Engineering Profession.
- Dr Anna Middleton, Head of Society and Ethics Research, Wellcome Genome Campus, Cambridge.
- Dr Anders Sandberg, Research Fellow, Future of Humanity Institute, University of Oxford.
Keynote address by Prof Mark Caulfield, Director of the William Harvey Research Institute and Chief Scientist at Genomics England.
