Project Summary: The Genomics Education Programme, run by Health Education England, will help ensure that NHS staff have the knowledge, skills and experience to ensure the NHS remains a world leader in genomic and precision medicine.
A small subset of the data will be used for training and education. This includes access for staff and students in the MSc Genomic Medicine and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accredited courses in the Genomics Education Programme.
Aims: To educate NHS healthcare professionals for the future adoption of genomic technologies. To train NHS staff in the increasing use of genomic information as part of diagnosing and treating patients.
