Resources, events and support
Our research community
A community of researchers and clinicians work with Genomics England to perform research on the data from over 100,000 individuals affected by rare conditions or cancer from the 100,000 Genomes Project and our other research cohorts. Any researcher at an academic research or healthcare institution can apply to join the community and access the data for free.
Research seminars
We host a free, virtual seminar series each month that highlights some of the most interesting and impactful research. Each session has 2 speakers who could either be from the research community, Genomics England’s research staff or our commercial partners.
Research environment training and support
The data we hold, including the data of the 100,000 Genomes Project, is de-identified and can only be accessed in our secure Research Environment. Once you have access to our Research Environment, we have documentation and training sessions to help you use our tools well for research and improve your coding or analytical skills.
Have a technical question about the Environment? Raise a ticket with our service desk.
Funding support
We support grant proposals to external funding bodies for researcher performed on any of our data.
