Equity in genomic medicine and research
This programme aims to understand the technical, procedural, social and behavioural drivers of inequalities within genomic medicine to ensure the services we provide at Genomics England are as equitable as possible. We hope our learnings and the solutions we develop will be useful for other genomic institutions.
We would love to hear from people who are interested in learning more and getting involved. We are particularly interested in hearing from those at genomics-related organisations (companies, research institutes, charities, research funder and think tanks) who are interested in understanding bias in their services, how it might impact upon research or care and want to develop solutions to move things forward.
