Professor Patricia Munroe
Population Genomics co-leadPatricia Munroe is a Professor of Molecular Medicine at Queen Mary University of London with a research focus on cardiovascular genetics. Her group uses genomics and computational methods to understand the molecular basis of hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure. She has established and co-leads several international complex trait consortia, this collaborative networking has led to the discovery of 1000s of genes for disease and cardiovascular risk factors.
