How funding works for Research Network research projects
Genomics England provides the infrastructure and compute to enable research in the Research Environment. However, Genomics England does not provide grants for academic research projects and researchers need to secure their own resources to do the work they intend to carry out. A letter of support can help with this.
Submit your request for a letter of support
If the research you are planning to undertake as a Research Network member is in line with the acceptable uses in the NGRL Governance Framework and Genomics England’s mission, then we will be able to provide you with a letter of support for your funding application.
We strongly encourage trainees or early career researchers to consider using a letter of support from us when applying for fellowships or grant applications.
You can request a letter of support using this form both as an existing Research Network member and if you are not yet a member but would like to join if your funding application is successful.
If you are a life sciences industry partner or do not classify as an academic or clinical researcher and would like us to consider providing you with a letter of support, please email: [email protected]
Please allow at least 10 working days for Genomics England to review your proposal.
