Dr David Morris

Bioinformatics and machine learning co-lead

Dr David Morris is a non-clinical lecturer in molecular genetics at King’s College London. His area of expertise primarily centres on applying and developing methodologies for the statistical analysis of complex disease genetic data. Through a patient-led approach, Dr Morris mostly works on predicting the progression of autoimmune diseases through the collection of detailed clinical and genetic data. In addition, Dr Morris also works on other conditions such as Severe COVID-19 and schizophrenia. Now, he will be co-leading our Bioinformatics and Machine Learning community which will seek to advance the application of computational and machine learning methods in genomic research.
