Dr Letizia Vestito is a Research Fellow in Computational Biology at Queen Mary University of London, working on innovative diagnostics and gene discovery strategies for rare diseases. During her doctoral studies at UCL, she gained extensive expertise in the field of genomics and the analysis of data from the 100,000 Genomes Project. This experience inspired her to join the Research Network Committee as an Early Career Researcher representative, where she supports fellow students in navigating the complexities of working with this valuable data and shaping successful career paths.
