Mavis is a Senior Researcher at the Ada Lovelace Institute, working at the intersection of data and AI technologies and their impacts on society.
She has previously worked on data governance and access projects in genomics and health impacts of technologies; and has past experience of sitting on data and technology ethics committees.
Mavis has a clinical and social science background and holds a PhD in Health Studies. She retains an on-going local and global interest in exploring social and bio-ethical impacts of emerging technologies on society.
