Professor Anna Schuh

Pan-Cancer and Molecular Oncology co-lead

Professor Anna Schuh completed academic and clinical haematology training in Oxford, United Kingdom. Since acting as clinical director of the haematology laboratory at the Oxford University NHS Hospital Trust, she has chaired the National Cancer Research Insitute CLL Collaborative Group, led over 50 clinical trials in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and co-founded two start-ups. Her main research interests are the development of new Precision Diagnostic technologies and she published the first whole genome longitudinal study in patients with leukemia. This was a pilot that later led to the 100,000 Genome Project. Professor Schuh will co-lead our Pan-Cancer and Molecular Oncology community to decipher genomic variations in over 200 distinct cancer types.
