Professor Christopher Yau

Christopher Yau is Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford and Deputy Programme Director for Capacity Building at Health Data Research UK, he was previously an Associate Professor in Genomic Medicine and Principal Investigator at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics. He holds a UKRI Turing AI Fellowship where he is developing artificial intelligence-based techniques for analysis biomedical data including genomics and electronic health records. Professor Yau will be leading our Bioinformatics and Machine Learning community which will seek to advance the application of computational and machine learning methods in genomic research.
