About the event

Genomics England are delighted to co-host this annual event which brings together a consortium of newborn sequencing research projects from around the world.

Genomics England’s Newborn Genomes Programme is one of the research studies that comprises the consortium, along with BabySeq (US), GUARDIAN Study (US), BeginNGS (US) Early Check (US), Screen4Care (Europe), ScreenPlus (US), and BabyBeyond (Australia). Presentations will feature updates on each of these studies, alongside panel discussions on newborn sequencing economics, patient voices and perspectives, and upstream / downstream ecosystems for newborn sequencing.

Genomics England’s Dr David Bick (Principal Clinician, Newborn Genomes Programme), and Dr Rich Scott (Deputy CEO and Chief Medical Officer) will both present the work of the Newborn Genomes Programme, including how it will deliver the Generation Study towards the end of this year.
