Research for Genomic Equity Conference
A day of presentations, small-group discussions and fruitful coffee-break conversations on the latest advances and opportunities in genomic data diversity.
The Research for Genomic Equity Conference explored how the academic and commercial research communities can improve our understanding of human variation and ensure that genomics is as equitable as possible.
It covered a huge range of topics, with a focus on three main themes for the day:
- Ethical and social factors in genomic equity
- New initiatives in data diversity and their discoveries
- Products, tools and behaviours to support genomic equity
This event was open to everyone, with strong value for researchers (academic or commercial) with strong domain knowledge in genomics, bioinformatics, statistical genetics, data science or health equity.
You can find recordings of each session on the official Research for Genomic Equity Conference website.
